Outpatient Representative - Therapy Services Job in McMinnville at Lifepoint (2024)

Position Summary:

Responsible for scheduling outpatients for Therapy Services, Cardiac Rehab and Dietitian Services; creating account cases, entering daily charges and obtaining required physician signatures and orders; updating monthly recurring accounts; performing secretarial duties, data collection and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year therapy scheduling and/or secretarial experience preferred
• Computer skills: proficient in Word, Microsoft Office
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with constantly changing work demands.

Essential Job Functional:

• Schedules outpatients for Therapy Services, Cardiac Rehab and Dietitian Services.
• Coordinates and prioritizes all information concerning the patients, physicians, insurance carriers and department staff.
• Performs general administrative and clerical duties.
• Registers patients.
• Communication skills promote positive work environment and patient outcomes.
