Batted .291 (57-for-196) with 29 RBI against right-handers compared to a .207 mark (12-for-58) against southpaws. Named the Cubs Minor League Player of the Month for April after batting .362 (25-for-69) with seven doubles and three homers in 19 games. Earned consecutive Southern League Player of the Week honors, April 9-19 and April 20-26. Collected a season-high five RBI, April 22 at Jackson. Spent time on Tennessee's seven-day disabled list twice, May 26-June 9 (right hamstring strain) and July 4-August 20 (right oblique strain).
